VISIT NEPAL 2011

Another happy news for the tourists, encouraging hopeful planning and announcement for the promotion of tourism in Nepal has been made by Government of Nepal in  participation with Nepalese travel trade sector and concerned organizations/experts like Nepal Tourism Board in October 25, 2008 to celebrate Year 2011 as “Nepal Tourism Year 2011″.In Nepal Tourism Year 2011 many supportive packages such as holiday packages, trek packages and adventurous packages will be provided to the tourist interested to visit Nepal for their encouragement and better facility. The launch of national tourism campaign “Nepal Tourism Year 2011″ can also be regarded as another positive and enthusiastic step of government for the promotion of tourism in Nepal. In “Nepal Tourism Year 2011″ more than one million of international tourist has been targeted for the visit in Nepal, which can assure that tourism industry of Nepal will benefited with lots of new tourists and it can also help in better upliftment in Nepalese economy .Homework for the Nepal Tourism Year 2011 has been commenced with rapid speed to show the excellence result in future and to assure the wider promotional accuracy.

On 26^th February 2010 Nepal Tourism Year 2011 is going to be held at Tudikhel, Kathmandu and the programme is  inaugurated by the Honorable Prime Minister of Nepal, Mr. Madhav Kumar Nepal. It is hoped that inaugural ceremony will be best. The inauguration ceremony saw participation from representatives of different political parties, tourism and economic sectors, private sector, sports, entertainment and ethnic communities. Slogan for “Visit Nepal 2011″ is ‘Together for Tourism’.

As everybody knows that visit Nepal 2011 has been launched. In 14^th falgun(26^th February 2010) our Nepalese government has announced that in visit Nepal 2011 program, 1 million foreign tourist will visit Nepal because of attractive tour ,trekking and holiday packages. To make visit Nepal 2011(Nepal tourism year 2011) a grand success, the political party of Nepal took the promised that their won’t be any kind of bad activities that can cause problem or hamper on visit Nepal 2011 program. Our major political leader of maoist party Mr. Prachanda also signed in the promissory documents.

Our prime minister Madhav Kumar Nepal inaugurated the visit Nepal 2011 by burning the light that was bought from the birth place of Buddha ,Lumbini. He also said that for making this event memorable every governmental institution and organization  will be running in the full fledge.He said that to make this event successful ,he will help the peoples, hotels ,businessman and private sector and play vital role for the better comfort of tourists. He also claimed that because of Nepal’s natural beauty ,yearly Nepal can attract 2.5 million  tourists.

Business person and other related travel and agencies and other hotel owner also said that there will be full support from their side to make visit Nepal 2011 a successful program.Our businessman and other official staffs pointed that this is the new step for the economic revolution of Nepal.

In 2008,there used to be increase in incoming tourist in Nepal by one percent but now in 2010 January, tourist coming to Nepal from the airflight or airlines has increased to eleven percent.Our Nepal Tourism Board has targeted  to do advertisement in international level and use the promises of the major political leaders to make the visit Nepal 2011(Nepal Tourism Year 2011) a successful event  with precious memory for visitors.

As Nepal has always been the best choice regarding the adventurous tour, ever smiling face of Nepalese people and hospitality towards tourists can make them secure and safe to visit Nepal.
